The Pastry World Cup is a celebration of the craftsmanship and dedication of the most passionate and committed pastry professionals.
To compete in this final, Chefs from around the world invested every second of their lives—on top of the long and demanding hours of their daily work—into the pursuit of exceptional textures, flavors, and intricate designs, all to amaze the world of gastronomy.
The 18 teams vying for the title of Pastry World Champion competed around a common theme: national heritage.
This theme provided candidates with a unique opportunity to showcase their country and culture through their creations. For this edition, the competition was all about culture and national identity. The teams had to design masterpieces inspired by their heritage, highlighting not only their technical expertise but also the rich gastronomic and cultural traditions of their homeland. Their mission: to transport the jury on a journey and convey the emotions and stories behind each creation.
“Once again this year, the competition has been a stunning showcase of pastry craftsmanship and the incredible dedication of the contestants,” observed Pierre Hermé, President of the Pastry World Cup. “There have also been many evolutions, such as the reduced competition time and the transformation of the chocolate entremet into a ‘Chocolate Show,’ which challenges pastry chefs to demonstrate exceptional creativity beyond their laboratories. The candidates can truly be proud of themselves.”
